After their recent tour The British Rat Pack and Legend of Swing shows have now gained a much larger following. Paul-Hayden’s original production has created ripples far beyond the Rat Pack tribute industry as this was the first show to cover various swing music from the begining to current day.
“Swing music has continued to evolve as this show has proven beginning at the Cross Roads in the 1920’s with an acappella of “Hush” Paul-Hayden exclaims. “I wanted the Legend of Swing show to include music that has constantly been over looked such as He’s a tramp by Peggy Lee. Leroy Brown which is a Rat Pack classic and How do you keep the music playing by Tony Bennett”.
The set often changed to include other amazing songs as well as the following;
Birth of the blues (Sammy Davies Jnr). Let there be love (Nat King Cole). Sway (Dean Martin). Pennies from Heaven (Louis Armstrong). Cry me a river (Michael Bublé). Mr Bo Jangles (Sammy Davies Jnr). Nice and easy (Frank Sinatra). My baby just cares for me (Nina Simone). Moon dance (Van Morrison. Michael Bublé). Me and my shadow (Frank Sinatra). Minnie the moocher (Cab Calloway).Sing sing sing (Benny Goodman). Send in the clowns (Stephen Sondheim). Berkeley Square (Bobby Darin). L O V E (Nat King Cole).
